{maternity} august glow

I got to return to my old stomping ground in Mount Brydges for this session! Lion's Park was the perfect backdrop for this maternity shoot, though I have a feeling that I could have photographed this family anywhere and they would still have rocked it! They are one of the cutest most loving families I have ever met. Brandie and Shawn couldn't keep their hands off of each other...which may explain baby bump #2!  Haha! So sweet and so obviously still head over heals. They're son was so well behaved and adorable and the session couldn't have gone better.  Thanks for letting me into your little world guys! Enjoy!

{contests} lazy

Here's my entry for this week's evoking you photo challenge.  The theme is 'lazy' and there was nothing lazier that my family did this summer than laying around enjoying long, warm days at the cottage.

{contests} childhood

This week's evoking you photo challenge is 'childhood'.  I had a really hard time choosing the photo this time! I have so many pics of my boy, and of coarse I am WAY biased and think they are all the cutest ever.  I just edited a series of him from a camping trip this summer, all filthy and wild, and was sure I would choose one of the photos from those...but in the end I picked this one.  It's another camping moment, this time capturing the sweet first tastes of the long-awaited ice cream cone!  There are so many moments with boy-o that take me back to my own childhood. I can't get enough of watching him experience all the 'classic' rights of passage.  I hope he remembers as least some of them!  Love you baby!
